Eats and Treats
The Saline Area Fire Department will be cooking up a storm and offering a pancake breakfast Saturday, August 5th from 7:00 am to 10:00 am at the Firehouse. The pancake breakfast is an all you can eat for $5.00 (pancakes, sausage, orange juice, coffee and or milk. Take-out will also be an option for those on the go.
Later that morning the firemen will be downtown and will be offerning full chicken dinners for the hungry crowds including a half a chicken, coleslaw, radishes, dinner rolls, and chips. Saturday, August 6, from 11:30 am to 6 pm or until they run out of chickens!
The Summerfest event will offer many of your standard festival treats including:
Beer and Wine Tent- Friday 5 pm - 11:00 pm, Saturday 12 Noon - 11:00 pm
Baker's Nook - Fresh Baked Goods
Benny’s Bakery - Pretzels and Donuts
Dan's Downtown Tavern - Hamburger, Cheeseburger, and Turkey Burger Baskets. They are also offering a Black Bean Basket for the vegetarian crowd.
Kiwanis Club Concessions - Friday 5 pm - 11 pm, Saturday 12 noon - 11 pm
Lions Club: Ice Cream Wagon- Friday 5 pm- 11 pm, Saturday 11:30 am - 11 pm
Lindenberg German Sausage - Friday 5 pm - 11 pm, Saturday 10 am -11 pm
Fireman's Pancake Breakfast (at Firehouse) 7 am - 10 am
Fireman's Chicken Dinner, Saturday 11:30 am - 6 pm
Consumption of alcoholic beverages other than those available within designated areas is prohibited.
